Professor Morris Katz is known as a brilliant scientist at Mars University, but is in fact one of those dog-operated puppets that's been adapted for use by a cat. He is secretly controlled by the Thubanian leader.

- It's possible he was an actual human, who was used by the Thubanian leader when found dead.
- Resembles the 20th Century Lecturer.
- This is probably a coincidence, as they both seem to be inspired by the same person (John Houseman in The Paper Chase).
