Devo has been a new-wave band since the 20th century. They still exist in the 31st century where, having been mutated, they fight for their rights. The band is led by Mark Mothersbaugh.
The Devolution Revolution, named after them, granted them their freedom. Along with the rest of the Sewer Mutants, they are now considered regular citizens of Earth and are allowed to walk on the surface of New New York.
